Mya is a faculty member from UW River Falls, she is here alone and we find quickly that we have many professional overlaps and are philosophically alike. Mya is a smoker and she asked if I wanted to go outside with her and we could explore more of the palace on the way. We headed to the basement where we found a treasure-trove of rooms – a game room (ping pong, pool), bicycles, movie room w/ a collection of VHS and DVDs, etc. These are small rooms accessed down a long, narrow hall. This discovery gives me a stronger sense of this house as a manor house, one time filled with wealthy families and many servants.
